WE RALLY

We help spur collaboration by enlisting like-minded partners within government, the private sector, and non-profits, who provide resources to help our children and adults succeed

WE CARE

Our foundation began with a vision to improve literacy for every child and adult no matter who they are or where they live. We harbor love, hope, promise, and inspiration to those we serve.

empowering communities throughout the region

“Our foundation began with a vision to improve literacy for every child and adult no matter where they live”

Washington Informer Charities was founded by Dr. Calvin Rolark, Sr.

“ Dr. Calvin Rolark was a teacher and an inspiration to all of us who tried to work for a progressive community and city. He got things accomplished that to others seemed impossible. His dogged determination to see that right is done and justice prevailed carried the day on many issues, and brought along others to try and follow in his footsteps. He and Wilhelmina were truly a dynamic duo.”
