The 2024 Prince George’s County Spelling Bee is presented by The Washington Informer and Washington Informer Charities. Prince George’s County’s top fifth through eighth grade spellers will compete for a chance to represent the county in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May!
The mission of the annual spelling bee is to promote literacy and help students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts, and develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives. Sponsorship of this event offers tremendous exposure and an excellent opportunity to significantly impact the lives of area youths as well as their parents, teachers and family members.
